flolcatr, wtf?

flolcatr was created as a part of Yahoo Hack U 2007 at Carnegie Mellon by Mattt Thompson, with some help from Paul O'Shannessy. This site is a tribute to the lolcat meme — a Turing Test, if you will, to see what happens when we tap into the hivemind of the internet and let it express itself.

Pulling cc-licensed photos and meta-information from Flickr, flolcatr constructs a generative lolcat image. It's hit-or-miss with how they turn out, but sometimes the results are amazing. It's like chaos theory + cats + AIM speak.
